Khuram Rashid博士目前就职于巴基斯坦拉合尔工程技术大学建筑工程与设计系任教授。于2016年获日本北海道大学博士学位,后回母校任助理教授,并在中国(广东工业大学(2017−2019年)进行了博士后研究。Khuram Rashid博士共指导完成了25篇硕士论文和1篇博士论文。其主要研究方向包括:

报告主要内容:
In strengthening of concrete structures by cementitious or non-cementitious material, the interface between substrate concrete and repairing material have a critical role. And it must be investigated in detail under the action of tension, shear, and compression-tension stresses, and under various hygrothermal conditions. The current lecture covers the bond behavior of concrete with the repairing material like polymer cement mortar under various hygrothermal conditions. The interfacial strength in tension and shear has been investigated. Moreover, influence of cyclic seasonal variation has also been monitored for the bonded structures. Efforts are also being made to enhance the bond strength by adding different additives, and evaluating the bond strength for lime based historical buildings. At the end, few studies at member level strengthening have been discussed, where beams are strengthened by overlaying with PCM and exposed to high temperature levels and beams strengthened by FRP and employing
